FX Prevent is a specialist in the field of oxygen reduction systems.

The foundation of our company is based on the extensive knowledge we have regarding the development and application of nitrogen generators. We also are also very savvy in the field of fire and explosion protection.
In addition to implementing our nitrogen reduction systems for fire prevention (LOX® systems), they can also be used for the fruit shelf life (ULO cells), insect extermination, and for various applications in the food industry.
FX Prevent is actively involved in product development and provides it’s network and customers with support for the application. We are also currently developing standards and guidelines aimed at ensuring the quality and functionality of oxygen reduction systems.
We are in complete control of the development and manufacturing of our LOX® systems. This gives us the possibility to further optimise our services and respond to the specific needs and demands of our customers.

Our goal is to create, in close collaboration with our customers and demanding parties like the government and insurance companies, the safest possible environment, in which harm to people and damage to company property and the environment are kept to a minimum.

FX Prevent works closely with PRESSCON. We have an organisation of 20 professionals available to us in this collaborative effort. Our workshop on the Veilingweg in Honselersdijk measures 1.000 m2 with another 250 m2 for offices. We also have our own testing and demonstration facilities.

The founding of sister company Presscon
With a core focus on the design, construction and maintenance of nitrogen expansion systems for large-scale greenhouse heating systems. The advances Presscon made in the field of nitrogen generators paved the way for FX Prevent, and the expertise gained in horticulture applications helped us create the most energy efficient Oxygen reduction system on the market.
2005
The founding of FX Prevent
Once Presscon management realised that the know-how already existed within the company to adapt the Nitrogen compressors for permanent fire prevention systems, our company was born. Since then we’ve grown and have been successfully delivering the most energy efficient oxygen reduction systems to customers from the Netherlands and around the world.

2008
Our development of the HP-PSA technology
Using the PSA (pressure swing adsorption) technology, FX and PRESSCON have developed a completely new system (HP, High Performance) that eliminates the drawbacks experienced by traditional PSA systems. Through optimised airflow in the system and a unique press-on system for the active coal our LOX® system is the most environmental friendly on the market with a significantly lower energy consumption than competitors and longer service life.
2009
BRL-K21017/01 evaluation guidelines
Kiwa, in collaboration with FX Prevent, established the BRL K-21017 evaluation guidelines for oxygen reduction systems. In full: the evaluation guidelines for the KIWA product certificate for design, installation, delivery, and support for inerting and oxygen reduction systems. These guidelines were officially approved by the panel of experts on 21 January 2009.
