OXOUT fire prevention system

This OXIT® system can be applied in closed areas like storage tanks and silos. The oxygen level is lowered (inerted) to a point where the combustion of vapours or materials is made impossible because of the shortage of oxygen. This prevents fire or explosion from occurring. Existing in these areas under normal working conditions is not possible without the aid of breathing apparatus.The OXOUT system consists of a compressor and a nitrogen generator. The system is regulated by the OXOUT controller. Forty eight different tanks/silos can be monitored and protected with a single system. The concentration of oxygen and the pressure is continuously regulated and can be adjusted when necessary. The overpressure that develops during the filling process is released through a safety valve. The underpressure that develops when emptying is compensated by pumping in more nitrogen.
