Quality and certification
ISO 9001:2000
The quality of her services and the products provided by FX Prevent are of paramount importance. That is why FX Prevent has opted to conduct business in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 guidelines for quality.
Adopting the ISO 9001 guidelines means not only that all our processes are monitored but that companies we do business with maintain high standards as well.
BRL-K21017/01 evaluation guidelines
Kiwa, in collaboration with FX Prevent, established the BRL K-21017 evaluation guidelines for oxygen reduction systems. In full: the evaluation guidelines for the KIWA product certificate for design, installation, delivery, and support for inerting and oxygen reduction systems. These guidelines were officially approved by the panel of experts on 21 January 2009.
The main stipulations for certification are:
• Design
• Installation
• Maintenance and support
• Architectural design of the areas to be protected
• Organisational measures
The systems FX Prevent fabricates and installs for her customers meet the stringent requirements of the BRL-K21017/01, and the KIWA can issue a certificate for this when requested by the customer.
Part of the certification process involves drafting a Fire Safety Risk Analysis and a Schedule of requirements. In collaboration with RP Safety & Risk Management, we can be of service with these and other issues relating to safety, working conditions, and risk management.
Gas-proof protected areas and structural consulting
In order to optimise operation of the protected areas, much attention must be paid to making them gas-proof. Some leakage through use of the access doors is acceptable. The gas-proofness of an area can be established experimentally. We work closely with RP Safety when providing these services. We can also provide advice for structural issues relating to realising optimal gas-proofness of the areas.
